Working together in partnership with British Healthcare Trades Association

Background

Back in 2006, the British Healthcare Trades Association took the decision to investigate what was available to possibly replace their existing computer system. Their existing software ‘worked’, but did not deliver many of the advantages of what they thought should be available in a modern CRM/MRM solution.

Their website was simply a brochure based site, difficulties were encountered in emailing, reporting was extremely complicated and often they were charged by their supplier for work they deemed should be available within a modern system.

Following a visit to Chase 2006, they decided to investigate several of the Vendors solutions being shown. Following an extensive process, BHTA chose eTarget® from Centrepoint Computer Services Ltd. Centrepoint was selected because of our technologically advanced solution, the sophisticated and complete approach to CRM/MRM for the not-for-profit sector, and our commitment to providing real service and value for money.

At the time, Sarah Lepak, BHTA Assistant Director said "Centrepoint will be working very closely with us to provide a system which meets our specific needs. We hope to have it fully integrated and running by the third quarter of 2007. We look forward to continuing our positive working relationship with Centrepoint throughout the development of our new system".

The Project

The project entailed several steps including:

Taking all available information from a variety of sources and converting the raw data into the eTarget® relational database.

Training the BHTA users to ensure the most effective way of using the eTarget® system Converting their website to make full use of our NetManager product.

Supporting BHTA and their staff at every stage to ensure they were confident at every step of the project.

The Result - BHTA Today

BHTA went live with their new eTarget® in September 2007, on budget and to the agreed timetable. They now have a modern hosted system running CRM, Membership and Events. They are able to query their own information, produce their own reports and can email all relevant contacts using the standard software. Additionally, they can modify and change their website. In short, they are now equipped with a technologically advanced software suite which will serve then well and adapt and grow as the Association grows over forthcoming years.
